Salisbury Winter Sports Association (SWSA), a Salisbury tradition for 80 years, this all volunteer organization has fostered the exhilarating sport of ski jumping among all ages and generations.

What is USSA?



Membership Benefits:
Members of USSA classes I, II, III, and IV are entitled to the following:

Lessons in Nordic, Alpine, and junior ski-jumping

Please be aware that ONLY SWSA members should be using SWSA facilities. It is important for all members to encourage interested persons to join USSA and SWSA and to discourage the use of SWSA facilities by non-members.

SWSA Board of Directors meets every first Wednesday each month at 7:30 pm at the Satre Hill "Byrd House", and all members are welcome to attend.

How to Join:

FIRST AND FOREMOST: You must be a member of both USSA and SWSA to use any SWSA facilities. Period!
Step 1. Request a membership form from USSA via email membership@ussa.org or phone (435) 647-2666. Complete the form and mail it with the appropriate fees to USSA.  A form MUST be submitted for EACH family member. Questions about membership can be answered by club member Paul Koneazny 413-229-2966. 

USSA Fee Information

I.  Competitor If you are a Ski jumper   fees will vary
II.  Official If you are an Adult skier, Nordic or alpine, ages 13 and up, including adult members who wish to ski at Selleck Hill or participate in SWSA programs $50.00
III.  Non-competitive Sports Ages 13-18 yrs

$50.00

IV.  Youth Children under 13  

$25.00

Step 2.

Join SWSA: Once your USSA membership has been processed,  complete the SWSA Registration and Release form, mail it with your membership fees, and it's a done deal!

One individual $10.00
Two individuals $15.00
Three or more individuals $20.00

PLEASE NOTE: Confirmation of USSA membership is required BEFORE SWSA participation can be approved, so act now!

What is USSA and How is it Related to SWSA?

Img17.png USSA acknowledges SWSA's unique situation as a recreational club and host of the Eastern National Ski Jumping Championships, organized and staffed entirely by volunteers.
Img17.png SWSA's connection to USSA has helped the club to carry affordable insurance coverage.
Img17.png Interested in participating in any of the variety of SWSA activities? Join NOW and be ready for winter.

There are many ways you can participate, and all members are encouraged to contribute in the area(s) they wish.
